About me
I'm a student from Asia who spends waaayy too much time on tinkering w/ things I probably shouldn't be touching.
I love the feeling of breaking a system intentionally just to figure out how to piece it back together. When I'm not fighting with config files or ricing my tiling window manager, you'll usually find me obsessing over cybersecurity, trying to squeeze performance out of budget hardware, or hanging out w/ cats :D
Current Experiments
Right now, my main obsession is MARJARA, a transformer stack I'm trying to train locally. Computing attention weights on my machine pushes it to the absolute limit-if you hear something that sounds like a commercial jet taking off, it's just my laptop fans trying to survive.
Aside from that, and just to mention when I get bored, devices around me internally scream and relate me as a bully, So far, I somehow got macOS to cooperate with an AMD Ryzen processor, and porting Ubuntu Touch onto an old Xiaomi Redmi 7A.
My beloved machine
Everything I do happens on a humble HP 247 G8 Notebook. It's packing a Ryzen 5 3500U, Vega 8 graphics, and a tightly stretched 6GB of usable RAM, also has a d3ad battery, so it stays permanently plugged in-effectively converting it into a desktop setup. It currently dual-boots Arch Linux (w/ Hyprland, of course) and macOS Monterey on a 512GB NVMe SSD. Obviously it's not a powerhouse, but it's mine.
